The handbell ministry began in 1987 after receiving our bells in memory of Sharon Sheppard, the daughter of Winstanley's former Minister of Music, Carl Sheppard. The ensembles perform on a five-octave set of Schulmerich handbells and a four-octave set of Malmark hand chimes.

The mission of the handbell ministry is to present the very best musical offering to God, to provide support, to be challenged, and to fellowship with other Christians through the gift of music. Please call the church office if you are interested in being a part of this ministry.

The Jubilate Ringers handbell ensemble serves in the worship services at Winstanley Baptist Church. The ensemble is composed of eleven ringers, and primarily performs music rated at levels 3 or 4. The ensemble's performance season is September through May.

The Jubilee Ringers youth handbell ensemble also serves in the worship services at Winstanley Baptist Church. The ensemble is composed of ten ringers, and primarily performs music rated at level 2. The ensemble's performance season is September through April.

Winstanley Baptist Church has been privileged to have Mrs. Christine D. Anderson lead in our Sunday morning worship as guest handbell soloist. Her musical and artistic skills enriched our worship experience.
