As the congregation came week by week for the regular services, they were amazed at the rapid progress of the construction. As the new fellowship hall was roughed in, the people began to appreciate its spaciousness.

The people noted the brickwork on the exterior, the hanging of the insulation, the drywall and plaster, the installation of the skylights in the new main hallway. To blend into the new interior walls, the workers plastered the dark brick walls in the original foyer. Thus an old dark hallway became bright and light.

During March work didn't seem to progress as rapidly because now electrical circuits and heating and cooling equipment with ducts had to be carefully installed. But even at that the congregation could see the new offices and preschool rooms shaping up.
