Now the administrative offices were completed. The main entrance with the impressive canopy was ready to be used as were the preschool rooms. So in April the congregation enjoyed a special dedication service. Two children put a time capsule in the cornerstone, and four youth placed the cornerstone in place. Now it was time to work on the elevator and the new kitchen.

When the preschool people moved into their new rooms and began enjoying them, that meant the young people could start remodeling the old preschool rooms on the lower level and claim that space for themselves.

While the sanctuary was being remodeled, the new fellowship hall was used as a temporary worship center. The renovation of the auditorium called for the dark brick walls to be plastered, new chandeliers installed, the false balcony removed, the choir platform enlarged, and beautiful new pews and carpet installed. The result of the complete renovation of the sanctuary is breathtaking!
